Position Summary

Llano Regional Hospital is seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee and manage all aspects of pharmacy operations within our hospital. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, a supportive work environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the hospital pharmacy in compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Ensure safe, effective, and efficient preparation, dispensing, and management of medications.

  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory control.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

  • Provide guidance and supervision to pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.

  • Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge with accountability for all pharmacy-related activities and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Required: Current and active license as a Pharmacist in the State of Texas.

  • Experience: Pharmacy experience preferred.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and community health.
